Apparently BBC1 are to broadcast a TV series - Bonekickers - based on a group of archaeologists  First episode: Tuesday 8th July, 9 p.m.
Described in the write-up I saw as a "blend of Time Team and Indiana Jones", it's about a team of archaeologists "faced with a new discovery each week. Modern-day Crusaders, slavery, Queen Boudicca, the first World War and Arthur's legendary swordare among the topics that occupy their attention over the six episodes."
Obviously this lot aren't going to end their six-week run with just a few bits of pottery and a couple of unidentifiable bits of rusted metal for their pains.
I'm one of those weird people who doesn't own a TV, so I wont be tuning in... but if anyone does catch it, let us know your thoughts on it.
